Appointed Freeholder-at-Large in January 1993. Elected to the Board of Freeholders in November, 1993 and re-elected in 1996, 1999 and 2003. Served as Mayor of Egg Harbor City for four years and Councilman of Egg Harbor City for four years. Chairman of Egg Harbor City Salvation Army. Atlantic County representative to the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO) and the South Jersey Economic Development District (SJEDD).

Biography:
Ms. Timberman is a resident of Woodstown Borough serving her first year as Freeholder. She works for Woodstown Family Practice as a Registered Nurse bringing twenty years of experience to the post. She obtained her BS in Nursing from Trenton State College with a School Nurse Certificate from Rowan University. She was a member of the Commission on Women.
President of the Salem County branch of AAUW and is now its southern New Jersey Co-coordinator, Vice Chair of the Salem Health and Wellness Foundation Board, American Red Cross volunteer, Elmer Methodist Church member, Democrat District 1 Committeewoman in Woodstown and Brownie Troop Assistant Leader.
