South Jersey Economic Development District Board of Directors Chairman and Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders Vice-Director.

Desiderio, mayor of Sea Isle City since 1993, was elected freeholder in 2002. Desiderio received his B.A. degree in Social Sciences and History from Thomas Edison College.

Desiderio is a member of the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization, Sea Isle City Planning Board, Sea Isle City Ambulance Corps, Elks Lodge BPOE 1290, Southern New Jersey Freeholders’ Association, New Jersey Association of Counties and past president and current member of the Cape May County League of Municipalities.  Desiderio is a member and current Chairman of the South Jersey Economic Development District.  Freeholder Desiderio was recognized by the New Jersey Conference of Mayors as Freeholder of the year 2004. 

Desiderio’s community involvement includes sponsoring both the St. Patrick’s Day and Columbus Day Parades in Sea Isle City as well as sponsoring numerous charitable events and playing Santa Claus for needy children in the county since 1997.

A native of Nutley, New Jersey, Desiderio became a full-time resident of Sea Isle City in 1983 and is president of Sea Isle Inn, Inc.; a family owned and operated business. Desiderio is married to wife Carmela and they have one daughter, Carmela.

South Jersey Economic Development District Vice Chairman and Cumberland County Freeholder Director.

Appointed to vacancy on Freeholder Board September 2008. Elected to three year term November 2008. Employed in banking since 1974, currently as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, Colonial Bank FSB. Formerly CEO at St. Joseph’s Carpenter Society, Camden, NJ, a non-profit community development corporation.

Education includes Kean University BS, 1975; University of Virginia/Consumer Bankers Graduate School of Bank Management, 1989; Rutgers University School of Public Finance – CMFO Module, 1991; University of Oklahoma – ABA National Compliance School, 1993. Also taught adjunct at Gloucester and Cumberland County Colleges 1983-1996.

Former member of Cumberland Regional Board of Education (President 2002-2008); NJ Redevelopment Authority (2004-5); Advisory Board of Rutgers School of Social Work (1992-95); Upper Deerfield Township Treasurer (1990-1994); Licensed Soccer Coach – Cohansey and CP United (1984-2004); Upper Deerfield Township Economic Development Committee (1985-1990 and 2007-2008). Currently hold Series 7 License and NJ Producers Licenses for Life, Health and Variable.

Married to Carole (DeWolf) with nine children: Colleen (Kenneth Kuzniasz), Christopher, Mary Beth, Kimberly, Kevin, John, Courtney, Lauren and Steven and two grandchildren Kenneth and Caiden.

South Jersey Economic Development District Board of Directors Treasurer and Salem County Freeholder.

Ms. Timberman is a Democrat District One Committeewoman in Woodstown, serving her eighth year as Freeholder.  She works for Woodstown Family Practice as an RN, bringing more than twenty-five years of experience to the post.  She obtained her BS in Nursing from Trenton State College with a School Nurse Certificate from Rowan University and was a member of the Class of 2008 of the County Leadership Institute at NYU.  Ms. Timberman is President of the New Jersey Association of Counties , past president of the South Jersey  Freeholders Association, the, secretary of the South  Jersey Economic Development Council, past member of the Salem Health and Wellness  Foundation Board, and a member of AAUW– Salem County Branch. She is also a liaison to the SJTPO, Tourism Advisory Council, Cultural & Heritage Commission, and Commission on Women, and a Trustee of Elmer Methodist Church, where she teaches Sunday School.  She has a daughter, Natalie.

South Jersey Economic Development District Board of Directors Secretary and Atlantic County Board of Chosen Freeholders Chairman.

Elected District Two Freeholder November 2009 and elected Chairman of the Board in 2011. Frank is a member of the Greater Atlantic County Economic Development Commission, The Southern New Jersey Development Council Member, New Jersey Association of Counties, Board of Directors, South Jersey Economic Development District, Executive Committee and Board Secretary, Dante Hall Theatre of the Arts, American Baker's Association, UNICO and the Columbus Day Committee Hall of Fame. He has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild since 1985 (Associated with Actors & Artists of America/AFL CIO). Frank founded the Ducktown Revitalization Association in 1991 and served on the first Atlantic City Business Development Board, St. Michael's Development Corporation responsible for constructing Dante Hall and other Ducktown neighborhood developments. A recipient of the World of Difference Award from the Chelsea Neighborhood Association, Frank is a lifetime member of St. Michael's Church, Atlantic City, New Jersey. In 1979, Frank joined Resorts International Hotel Casino organization and served as Executive Administrator. In 1987 he purchased Formica Bros. Bakery from his father and uncles, which he continues to own and operate today in addition to owning and developing real estate. In 2007, he established a joint venture with Jack Mulloy (Ginsburg Bakery) called Baker Boys, which co-packs a variety of breads for major companies in the North East Region. Frank is a recipient of 16th Annual Bailey Award presented by the Press of Atlantic City in December 2010. The Press of Atlantic City created the Bailey Award to recognize businesses that consider community service part of their mission. Frank enlisted and served in the United States Air Force from 1972-1974. He resides in Margate, New Jersey with his wife Ruth. He is the father of four children, Donna, Rachel, Marie and Frank. He is grandfather to Vincent, Nicolas, Madison, and Matthew.
