Gordon K. Dahl, Executive Director

South Jersey Economic Development District

Gordon K. Dahl is Executive Director of the South Jersey Economic Development District, a four-county agency responsible for promoting regional cooperation to improve the economic climate of southern New Jersey. As Executive Director, Mr. Dahl oversees federal and state grant and loan programs that provide resources to communities and businesses as a means to encourage growth and development throughout the southern New Jersey region. Previously, Mr. Dahl served as the Economist for Atlantic County Government, NJ, where he prepared numerous studies and designed economic development strategies to attract technology-based industries and tourist-related facilities. He was also affiliated with the banking industry where his responsibilities included commercial credit analysis and portfolio management. He received his bachelor's degree in Business from Farleigh Dickenson University and his MBA from Monmouth University.

Mr. Dahl serves on the Board of Trustees for the Next Generation Aviation Research and Technology Park. In this capacity and as the SJEDD's Executive Director, Mr. Dahl has played a key role in developing the area's aviation industry, including expanding the application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and development of UAV testing and research facilities. Mr. Dahl is also a member of the Air Traffic Control Association, Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International and was a former member of the New Jersey Aviation Master Plan Advisory Board.

He is also a member of various organizations including the Atlantic County Economic Development Advisory Board. He is Chairman of the Economic Development committee of the Atlantic, Cape Workforce Investment Board. He is Chairman of the Hamilton Township Planning Board, a position he has had for several years. Mr. Dahl has also served as a board member and president of the Hamilton Township Board of Education.
